A simple gradient template for Twine SugarCube, featuring:

  • edited default sidebar and UI
  • additional settings options (light and dark mode, font size, fullscreen toggle, and audio toggle)
  • tips in the code comments

Based on the Simple Box Template from Leon’s Twine Stylesheets, but adjusted for SugarCube. Feel free to chop it up however you want.

Updated to work with Twine 2.7.0 and SugarCube 2.36.1, and with a few code and styling refinements too. Now includes a cheatsheet PDF for SugarCube.

Would this work for the Harlowe version? I'm a noob and I'm trying to figure out how to create from templates.

It was made with SugarCube, and I'm not sure how much crossover there is between that and Harlowe. You could try to copy some code and paste it into a Harlowe story, and see what works. Best of luck!
